Item Description :
The barrel is new and was hand-crafted according to more than 350 years old Bulgarian Tradition.
Every oak,mulberry or acacia barrel is produced after the order has been placed because every type of alcohol requires different level of toasting. You must contact us for the additional information:
Whit the barrel you will receive wooden tap, stopper and wooden pedestal included.
Delivery:
The Barrel will be delivered to your address within 10-15 working days. If you order more than one oak barrel you need to contact us, it may take more time because every barrel will be personally handmade for you.

Toast Levels:
The barrels are toasted from the inside as follows:
Low toast, Medium toast, Medium toast +, High toast.( LT, MT, MT+, HT ) .
LT - white wines
MT - red wines
MT+ - red wines and spirits
HT - will give you stronger whiskey effect ,scotch, bourbon ,brandy
For instance if you fill a HT barrel with vodka after a 3 months period you will be surprised to find that the vodka has turned in to your own homemade whiskey.
For white wines and brandies you may use acacia barrels.
The age of the alcohol is measured by the time it spent in the barrel.

Instructions:
Before filling the barrel with any kind of alcohol drinks fill it with lukewarm water for about 24 hours until soaked and all eventual leaks have stopped.
Then drain the water and it is ready for use.
When filling with water for the first time leaks are likely to appear and should not worry you.
This is normal as no glue has been used during the assembly.

About Us
We are based in Bulgaria , in a small village named Vrachesh.
In Bulgaria the village of Vrachesh is also known as the Capital of the barrels.
More than 90% of the wooden barrels made in Bulgaria especially for aging wine, whiskey and other liquids are made here.
The tradition of hand making barrels in the village is more than 350 years old and is being passed from generation to generation, from father to son. We are still using the old technologies and techniques of handcrafting creating every single detail.
The Bulgarian wooden barrels are made from oak, acacia , mulberry and other types of wood .They are being used all over the world including countries with great traditions of wine and spirit making such as France, Italy and The United States.
