Oak Sticks,Staves for Aging Whiskey






Using Oak Sticks for aging alcohol is very popular nowadays.

The process for aging your drinks with Oak Sticks takes only weeks, not years.

              

The Oak Sticks are made from the same wood we make our barrels for aging alcohol.

One Oak Stick is enough for whole bottle of alcohol (0.750gr)
Just put one stick in a bottle of whiskey and leave it for couple of weeks. You will be very surprised from the results. It is working the same way as the barrels aging. As long as it stays in the alcohol, as better are the results.

The Oak Sticks are toasted at the same way we toast our barrels.

Heavy Toast(Charred) brings pronounced caramelized, carbonized and toast flavours very quickly - it doesn't need much contact time.
 It is most often used in big, bold red wines.

Medium Plus Toast
 is between Medium and Heavy Toast. 
It has aromas of honey, roasted nuts and a hint of coffee and spices. It seems to be the ideal toast level for red wines.

Medium Toast 
has less tannins but more bouquet, so will impart more aroma than flavor. 
It has a warm, sweet character with strong vanilla overtones.

Light Toast 
French oak, coconut and fruit flavours.
